On the 4th of July, most people in the USA celebrate their freedom by eating BBQ, celebrating with family and friends, drinking a whole lot and blowing up the sky.
As a young artist/producer in the music business, I wanted to have a life of freedom by staying independent; a huge gamble at a time when the record deal was king.
And I've spent most of my adult life attempting to be truly myself, which is, I believe, the beginning of all freedoms.
Tommy and I founded Rule The Set Academy
because we believe in the freedom to be able to live well doing work we love.
It is our belief that we are free to have whatever kind of life we want...
...and the reason we always we get what we want is because we know how to.
- and the knowing "how to", the thing most people lack, is probably the most important.
Today, I encourage you to ask yourself, "What would make you free?"
Is it more time with your family and friends?
Is it the ability to do work you love and get paid well?
Traveling the world?
Being able to help others financially?
A life of peace?
Do you want freedom?
Harriet Tubman wanted freedom...
Freedom for all enslaved Africans living the horrors of American chattel slavery.
And even as she freed thousands of slaves, there were many who chose to stay behind.
Many who were so overwhelmed with fear of the unknown, that they could not, would not risk it all for their one chance at freedom.
The question is...
Are you ready to risk it all for your freedom?
Freedom to have the life you deserve?
